Surf’s Up
Each summer, the Vans US Open of Surfing takes over Huntington Beach, and guests of Kimpton Shorebreak Huntington Beach have a first-row view. The largest surfing event in the world spans seven days and is attended by over 500,000 surfing pros and aficionados, serving as a qualifying event for surfers into the World Surf League. In addition to the surf competitions for men, women and long boarders, the US Open of Surfing also hosts skate and BMX competitions to keep spectators entertained throughout the entire week.
