Welcome Party
Don’t wait until the wedding rolls around to greet your guests — host a welcome reception, check out our Love on Fire package for inspiration and get the party started. The Deck, a lively landscaped outdoor courtyard dotted with firepits and a sand pit, oozes SoCal style and makes for a fun spot to congregate for custom cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres (bacon-wrapped dates and buffalo cauliflower, anyone?), and s’mores by the fire.
Rehearsal Dinner
Aside from your BIG day, this is a special gathering with your family and wedding party, so make it count with a custom menu, warm service, and your nearest and dearest by your side. All of our venues are one of a kind, offering gorgeous backdrops for this momentous occasion. Set up outside on the breezy Bungalow Terrace or indoors in the casually chic South Swell, and work with the catering team to design the dishes of your dreams.
Ceremony
For iconic views to frame your iconic I do’s, get married on the Pierview Terrace, an outdoor venue with a backdrop of the Huntington Beach Pier and Pacific Ocean, or exchange vows on The Deck, our outdoor courtyard flanked by firepits. Indoors, the Bungalow is a beautiful spot for tying the knot in an intimate setting. Whatever the location, our team is dedicated will make sure everything goes off without a hitch.
Reception
Dine, dance, delight. Your first party as newlyweds should be one to remember, and that’s exactly what you’ll get at the Kimpton Shorebreak Resort. Choose from a wide array of settings, depending on your needs — for large receptions, the Epic Ballroom lives up to its name. Our in-house catering team will serve up California coastal cuisine, like blackened mahi mahi, strawberry salad, and Mexican chocolate pot de crème.
After Party
When the reception ends, the party doesn’t have to stop — just move it to a new location (or change the vibe of your current one) and keep the food, drinks, and fun flowing. Our late-night menu includes options that are both savory (sliders, fries, quesadillas, and chicken wings) and sweet (donut holes, mini pies, tarts, and cakes) to keep everyone happily fed into the wee hours.
Bridal Party Celebration
Your wedding weekend will be filled with opportunities to celebrate the love between you and your spouse-to-be, but before you get swept away in the romance of it all, take some time to celebrate your bridal party for the role they’re playing in your nuptials. We suggest getting all the bridesmaids and groomsmen together in one of our oceanfront suites with a balcony for a view-rich indoor/outdoor shindig.
